Standing 153 feet, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse has been making a definite presence on the North side of Jupiter Inlet since 1860. Built with brick the lighthouse was painted red in 1910 to cover discoloration caused by humidity. Its Fresnel lens can be seen as far away as 25 nautical miles. If you are feeling energetic, climb the 105 steps to the top for a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean.
